Mach review :Sunderland v Chelsea

Both clubs have new managers at the helm since they met at the Stadium of Light on the final day of last season. And both got off to winning starts with their new clubs.

Carlo Ancelotti guided Chelsea to a 2-1 victory at home to Hull City on the opening day, the eighth successive year they have won their first fixture - a Premier League record.

Steve Bruce led Sunderland to a 1-0 win at Bolton Wanderers thanks to a goal by Darren Bent who netted on the opening day for the fourth time in five years.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League meetings with the Black Cats since 2001.

Sunderland have never won their opening two fixtures in the Premier League but the Blues have achieved that feat in five of the last six seasons.
